(Sacramento) - USF sophomore Danielle Cvitanov fired a one-over 73 in the second round of the 2008 NCAA West Regional Friday at the Lincoln Hills Golf Course and enters Saturday's final round at two-over 146 (73, 73). Cvitanov carded three birdies in round two and has seven overall in the tournament hosted by Sacramento State. With her one-over 73, Civtanov vaulted from a share of 25th on the individual leader board all the way to 13th heading into the final 18 on Saturday. Therese Koelbaek owns the overall lead at seven-under 137 (69, 68) and Azahara Munoz of Arizona State is second at four-under 140 (69, 71). The top eight teams advance to the NCAA Nationals. With two rounds in the books, No. 2 USC, 571 (283, 288), No. 47 UNLV, 578 (288, 290), No. 4 Arizona State, 581 (296, 285) and No. 14 Oklahoma State, 586 (293, 293) comprise the top four teams, while No. 7 Arkansas (291, 297) and No. 12 Arizona (299, 289) are tied for fifth place at 588. No. 23 Stanford, 583 (295, 298) and No. 28 Tulsa, 595 (287, 308) enters the final round in the eighth spot. Cvitanov tees off her final round Saturday at 8:30 AM on hole No. 12.
