2007-2008 SEASON (0.8 ppg, 0.4 rpg): Played in 10 games... made Dons debut at Nevada and recorded a rebound (12/30)... had two rebounds at Gonzaga (2/14)... scored two points with one rebound versus Portland (1/17)... scored a season high six points versus Saint Mary's (2/21). AT DEPAUL UNIVERSITY: Prior to transferring to USF, played the 2005-06 season at DePaul University... saw time in nine games... was a member of the Blue Demons team that beat Tulsa in the NCAA Tournament second round to qualify for the Sweet Sixteen. PREP CAREER:earned four letters in basketball, three in track at Bishop O'Dowd High... during sophomore and junior year was named first team HAAL, averaging 12 points, eight rebounds per game. PERSONAL: Born July 20, 1987 in Berkeley, CA... daughter of Alan Musante and Pat Marino... goal for the season is to help team win the WCC and go the NCAA tournament... chose USF because it's close to home, she enjoys the city and loved the team and coaching staff when on visit... best advice she's ever given is "Dream big and believe in yourself"... favorite food is Italian... favorite music artist is Common... hobbies include music, sports, dancing, working with kids and food... majoring in Communications with hopes of working in sports media or in a job where she can work with youth. |
