(San Bruno, CA) - Four members of San Francisco's men's tennis team have earned All-Conference honors as announced by the West Coast Conference today. Junior Thong Tu earned second team honors for the second consecutive year. The Alameda, CA native finished the season 13-9 in dual matches at the No. 1 position, 15-12 overall. Tu took two of three matches in the WCC Tournament last weekend, taking a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jacek Twaroski (LMU) and a 6-4, 6-4 win over No. 55 Thomas Liversage (USD). Junior Falko Huettenberger earned an Honorable Mention nod after going 17-6 overall, 14-4 in dual matches. The Stuttgart, Germany native was 14-3 at No. 5, and 0-1 at No. 4. In doubles, Huettenberg and sophomore Asaf Cohen (Tel Aviv, Israel) earned second team nods along with Tu and sophomore Rainer Nachbauer (Bregenz, Austria). Huettenberg/Cohen finished the season 12-9 in the number one slot. Tu/Nachbauer recorded a 14-6 dual record, 1-0 at position one, 13-5 at position two, and 0-1 at position three. Tu and Nachbauer had an eight match win streak from March 17 through April 18.
