Incoming USF Don Kyle Prolo Wins 2008 NCGA Pub Links Championship
Kyle Prolo has yet to compete for the USF men's golf team, but has already posted a remarkable summer prior to joining the Dons on the Hilltop for the 2008-09 season. A senior transfer from Idaho State, Prolo carded six birdies in the final round on Tuesday to win the 2008 NCGA Public Links Championship at Spyglass Hill Golf Course in Pebble Beach.

USF's Kurt Nino Advances in the 100th Manoa Cup Championship
USF's Kurt Nino defeated No. 16 Kellen-Floyd Asao 3 & 1 Thursday advancing to the final eight in the 100th playing of the Manoa Cup Championship at the Oahu Country Club. The defending champion in the event, Nino looks to take the next step towards defending his title when he takes on No. 8 Wade Nakamura in one of four quarterfinal matches Friday.

USF Men's Golf Lands Five Players for the 2008-09 Season
USF men's golf welcomes a five-member recruiting class set to compete for the dons in the 2008-09 season as announced today by head coach Dr. Gary Nelson. Ji Hwan Park (Fullerton, CA/Emerson Honors HS), Joey Toulon (Vista, CA/Rancho Buena Vista HS) and Matt Miller (Pleasonton, CA/Foothills HS) enter as freshman, while Scott Hess (Santa Rosa/Santa Rosa CC) and Kyle Prolo (Benicia, CA/Idaho State) are transfers.
