USF Women's Cross Country Team Receives USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honor

All Academic Honor Release in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

After placing 12th at the NCAA West Regional Meet, the best finish in school history, the USF Women's Cross Country team received a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honor, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this afternoon.

In order to qualify for this honor a team must score points at the NCAA Regional meet and have a cumulative GPA of over 3.0. Competing for the Dons on the record setting team and being part of the squad that had an average GPA of 3.29 were seniors Jennifer Hartford, Fallon Heffernan, Lucy Miller, and Zita Mezei, junior Michelle Born, sophomore Mary Verran and freshman Nicole Bowler.
