2008 Cross Country: Improved tremendously for the Dons... was consistently a top seven runner... set a personal best of 26:21.9 where he finished 25th overall at the San Francisco Invitational... set a 10K personal best of 32:12 (106th) at the NCAA Regional Championships. 2008 Track & Field: Ran personal bests in the 1500 (4:14.07), 5000 (16:18.18) and 10000 (33:17.04) 2007 Cross Country: Set an 8k personal best at the Sundodger Invitational with a time of 27:11. Was the fifth Don at the USF Invite where he placed 35th overall. Prep Career: Named All-Conference and received Academic All-Conference Honors in high school. Was team captain and given the 100% award from his coaching staff. Personal bests of 15:36 in the 5k and 10:08 in the 3200. DONS File: Political Science major, parents are John and Heather Horeled. Chose USF because "the school had a wonderful location and great academics." His grandfather, J. Ron McLeod, competed in Wimbledon during World War II. |
