Complete Willamette Results in PDF Format

Junior Alex Nelson became the first male in USF Track and Field history to qualify for the NCAA Regional meet when he won the Willamette Last Chance 1500m Thursday afternoon with a time of 3:47.78, barely eclipsing the automatic qualifying time of 3:47.80.

Nelson, who won the 800m and 1500m for the Dons last Saturday in NAC Championship meet, will join senior Jennifer Hartford in the Regional competition on May 30 and 31, which will be hosted by the University of California State - Northridge. Hartford became the first Don in history to qualify for the Regional Meet earlier this year in the 5000m.
