USF Basketball Signs Chris O'Brien (Irvine, CA) to National Letter of Intent
USF men's basketball adds another talented perimeter player with the signing of 6-4 guard Chris O'Brien (Irvine, CA) to a National Letter of Intent (NLI) as announced today by head coach Rex Walters. O'Brien departed Northwood High School ranked in the top-five in virtually every offensive category.

USF Baseball Drops 10-Inning Heartbreaker to Dallas Baptist, 11-7
San Francisco rallied to tie or take the lead three times, including a 7-7 tie in the bottom of the ninth, but Dallas Baptist scored four times in the 10th to take the 11-7 non-conference victory at Benedetti Diamond on Friday afternoon. The Dons (31-25) managed 10 hits, including three homeruns and a triple, but left 14 runners on base, while the Patriots (36-17) had 15 base knocks and left just seven.

USF Basketball Signs Kwame Vaughn (Oakland) to Scholarship Agreement
USF men's basketball welcomes another recruit with strong Bay Area ties for the 2008-09 season as Kwame Vaughn (Oakland), a 6-3 guard has signed a scholarship agreement as announced today by head coach Rex Walters. Vaughn led the Oakland Section in scoring in 2007, averaging 16.8 points per game for Skyline High School.
